About Me
- I have a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in history with a minor in international business from the University of Memphis
- I have a master’s degree in instruction and curriculum leadership from the University of Memphis
- I am certified and highly qualified in grades K-8
- I am a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society
- I was selected as Donelson’s Teacher of the Year twice: in 2011 and in 2017!
- Before teaching, I worked for FedEx for 8 years, where I met my husband, who is now a P.E. teacher!
- I have been married for 23 years and have two children.
- My birthday is May 4.
- In my free time, I enjoy traveling (especially to National Parks!), supporting my daughter in the AHS Band, walking with my neighbor, and playing disc golf.
- I achieved Apple Teacher Certification in February 2018!
- I LOVE teaching Donelson 5th graders!
